Terms of Service

1. Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the FARIVO website, progressive web application, features, content, software, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to FARIVO and its owner or operator. By selecting “I agree” or using the Service, you enter into a binding agreement with us and confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms. If you do not agree, do not access or use the Service.

2. Limited license

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the Service for lawful personal travel planning. No ownership interest is transferred to you.

3. Prohibited conduct

You may not, directly or through another person, service, script, agent, or automated process:

• scrape, crawl, spider, harvest, index, monitor, copy, extract, download in bulk, or systematically collect the Service, its data, content, outputs, or metadata, except through an interface or export feature we expressly authorize;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, decode, translate, emulate, probe, or attempt to discover or derive any source code, object code, algorithms, models, prompts, logic, structure, non-public APIs, trade secrets, or underlying ideas of the Service, except only to the limited extent a restriction is prohibited by applicable law;
• copy, reproduce, imitate, clone, frame, mirror, republish, sell, license, or create a confusingly or substantially similar version of the Service’s interface, visual design, screen layouts, navigation, workflows, feature arrangement, graphics, branding, or overall look and feel;
• circumvent authentication, access controls, rate limits, technical protections, security features, or restrictions on copying or use;
• use the Service or its outputs to build, train, benchmark, improve, market, or operate a competing product, model, dataset, or service;
• remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, licensing, or other proprietary notices; or
• interfere with the Service, introduce malicious code, access another user’s account or data, or use the Service unlawfully.

We reserve all rights and remedies available for a violation, including suspending access, terminating accounts, preserving evidence, seeking injunctive relief, and pursuing damages where permitted by law.

4. Intellectual property and reservation of rights

The Service and its protectable selection, coordination, arrangement, branding, graphics, visual elements, documentation, and original content are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by applicable intellectual-property and unfair-competition laws. Except for the limited license above, all rights are expressly reserved. Third-party names, content, maps, photographs, and services remain the property of their respective owners.

5. Accounts and acceptable use

You are responsible for activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your sign-in method and devices. Information you submit must be accurate and lawful. You may not impersonate another person, create accounts to evade restrictions, or use the Service in a way that harms us, other users, providers, or the public.

6. AI-generated travel information

The Service uses automated and artificial-intelligence systems. Suggestions may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, unavailable, or unsuitable for your circumstances. Verify prices, schedules, entry requirements, accessibility, addresses, operating hours, weather, safety information, and other important details with authoritative sources before relying on them. You remain responsible for travel and purchasing decisions.

7. Bookings and third-party services

The Service may link to airlines, hotels, maps, booking services, and other third parties. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not sell travel, process payment, guarantee inventory, or control third-party terms. Your transaction is with the applicable provider and is governed by that provider’s terms, prices, refund rules, and privacy practices. Some links may be affiliate links, as disclosed in the Service.

8. Safety and emergencies

The Service is a planning aid, not an emergency, security, medical, legal, or governmental service. Do not rely on it as your sole source of safety information. In an emergency, contact local emergency services and follow instructions from appropriate authorities.

9. User content and community features

You retain ownership of content you submit. When you intentionally publish content to a public community feature, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, format, and distribute that content as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the feature. You represent that you have the rights needed to submit the content and that it does not infringe another person’s rights.

10. Suspension and termination

We may investigate suspected misuse and suspend or terminate access when we reasonably believe these Terms, another person’s rights, or the security or integrity of the Service has been violated. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including intellectual-property, prohibited-use, disclaimer, liability, and enforcement provisions—will survive.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or accurate. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits or data, travel disruption, personal injury caused by reliance on unverified information, or third-party acts. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms. When changes are material, we may require you to review and affirmatively accept a new version before continuing to use the Service. The version and effective date above identify the Terms you accepted.

13. Governing law and enforceability

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise. If any provision is found unenforceable, it will be enforced to the greatest extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
